A few months ago many were surprised in a negative way by the absence of a Nintendo Direct during the summer, and instead an issue aimed at third parties titles was carried out. And now that we are practically in September, a new rumor has emerged around the company will have a live soon.
In a recent podcast, Jeff Grubb , journalist of Venturebeat , has mentioned that the next presentation will be broadcast on the week of the September 12 . This would focus on showing a little more of the games that will arrive at Nintendo Switch at the end of the year. Video games such as Bayonetta 3 and of course, which will close 2022 , Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are included.
It is worth mentioning that this is nothing new, since in recent years Nintendo makes a last direct during September or October, so the journalist does not move away so much from the obvious. And regarding rumors, there has also been talk in a next 2D game in Mario, so it would be the perfect scenario for the company to make it known.
For now, Nintendo has not mentioned anything regarding the direct. But they are likely to give the news a couple of days before or even a week.
